Our elements are safety certified with the following agencies: UL File E65554 and CSA file LR48791.
Our elements consist of a tubular heater formed into the correct diameter, shape, and size based on the oven cavity and cooking temperature specifications required. Our standard diameters are either 0.260 inches or 0315 inches however, we do offer other diameters as needed. There a variety of sheath materials such as InColoy 840 the industry standard as well as 309 stainless steel and 321 stainless steel. Other materials are available upon request.
There are three different types of designs of elements for the oven cavity which are bake, broil, and convection. For the bake elements there are two sub sets of elements either the traditional bake element that you see when you open the oven door or the hidden bake element that is not visible. For the broil elements these are located in the top of the oven cavity supported by brackets for a secure fit. The broil elements are sometimes used during the pre-heating cycle to reduce the time prior to cooking. For the convection elements these are typically not visible and are associated with either one or two fans that force air to circulate in the oven cavity during cooking.
The electrical connection is either a quick connect type terminal or a hardwired connection with threaded terminals.
Our elements can be ordered in several different varieties depending on what you require such as in bulk and individually boxed.
In addition, we offer replacement bake, broil, and convection elements that can be ordered for a just like fit solution for older elements that need updating.
